Be Seen to Be Safe on a Potentially Rainy Halloween Night
Trick-or-treaters and their parents should be well-lit to protect against the usual surge in pedestrian accidents. Flame-resistant, light-colored costumes should also be a priority.

For their safety, it’s very important that trick-or-treaters wear flame-resistant costumes on Halloween night but it’s equally important that the costumes are well-lit and preferably not dark.
This year, Halloween falls on a Friday night so trick-or-treaters and their parents should be well-lit this Halloween to protect against the usual surge in pedestrian accidents.
