Chino Hills Undergrounding Project Will Require Extraordinary Cooperation
The undergrounding project will be the first of its kind in the United States.

The Tehachapi Renewable Transmission Project will be undergrounded from the western edge of Eucalyptus Avenue east, through the existing right-of-way, to Pipeline Avenue. A single-circuit, 500-kilovolt line will be installed underground. Two transition stations will be built to move the lines from an overhead position to underground and back to overhead.
