Edison Volunteers, Students Join in National Public Lands Day Celebration
An Edison International grant of $150,000 is helping to restore the Angeles National Forest damaged by the 2009 Station Fire.
The National Forest Foundation and Edison International recently hosted a National Public Lands Day event at the Angeles National Forest where about 60 volunteers, including students from San Fernando High School, did forest restoration, trail maintenance and removed invasive species.

Among the National Public Lands Day volunteers doing trail maintenance along a three-quarter mile stretch was Caroline Choi, vice president of Integrated Planning and Environmental Affairs for SCE.
