People should never prepare their game-day spreads by leaving any stovetop cooking unattended since nearly two-thirds of home-cooking fires start on a stovetop, according to the National Fire Protection Association.
When installing satellite dishes and antennas, people should always stay at least a distance equal to height of those objects plus 10 feet from any nearby power lines.
